Proverbs Prep has been such a blessing for our family. I'd go as far as calling Proverbs Prep and the director and mentor (Don Peppers and Terrell Norris) lifesavers. Our son joined Proverbs Prep at a critical time in his life. When I learned about the Proverbs Prep program, I reached out to Coach Pep. He graciously opened his arms to receive my son. Coaches Pep and Norris walked side by side with our son encouraging him, pouring into him, strengthening him, and developing a sense of community and belonging for him. Our son came to LOVE Proverbs Prep. He found exactly what he needed through this program. THANK YOU!

I realized at a young age my son was headed down the wrong road. I was blessed to get him into Camp Proverbs as the youngest camper at that time. It took him some adjustment but he quickly took to Coach Pep and began to grow. Within a few summers my son came home from camp and told me his life had been changed. It has been an honor to watch him continue to grow in that path. He has been at Camp Proverbs for 10 years now. Devon was one of the first graduates of Proverbs Prep. Now my son is a Mentor and councelor at Camp Proverbs. He is an amazing young man who takes responsibility for himself. He passes on what he has learned and is a leader through and through.

For the past eight years, Camp Proverbs and Camp Essence have been invaluable partners in the success of our 'Be the Change' Leadership Camp. Together, we’ve been able to inspire and positively impact the lives of over 500 young people, all while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors at Camp Long in Aiken, SC. Camp Proverbs and Camp Essence have played a crucial role in shaping the experiences and growth of our campers, and we are deeply grateful for their commitment and dedication. We look forward to continuing this incredible partnership and creating even more transformative opportunities for youth
in the future.

Camp Proverbs has made such a great impact on my life. All the mentors, all the talks we had, the engagement and inclusivity of every person involved... I’m honored and thankful to be a part of this amazing organization.

[As part of Pep Talk,] Don Peppers moderated an author discussion with football great Levon Kirkland for the Clemson Libraries. He was not only knowledgeable and asked pertinent questions to Mr. Kirkland but he also was very engaging with the audience. I would consider Don a consummate professional in every way.
